Commissioning the heating system

The entire new heating system for the site (except the Stables) will not be fully integrated and commissioned until the completion of the contract. When everything is finished there will be five heating zones; the temperature and timing controls of each zone will be programmed to suit the activities taking place in each zone.

 

In the meantime the heating to the worship area and the offices has been installed but because the rest of the new heating to the Pre-school, Main Hall and Welcome Area is in the process of being installed, the heating to the Worship area can currently only be 'on' or 'off' between specific pre-set times.  When the weather is mild the offices have been really warm even though the radiators are off, this is because the heating pipes located in the church office and Steven's office which take the hot water to the heaters in the Worship area are very hot. The hot air from the heaters in the Worship area is circulated by fans located within each unit.  There is a facility to switch off the fans to these heaters if necessary.
